This was my first try with a cordless flosser and I'm happy I tried this one. All the parts and features are just as described in the listing - a cordless body with removable 9 oz (270ml ) tank fillable from 2 ports, 5 standard tips and 3 different style tips, charging cord, and directions** for charging, use and cleaning.**The directions are awesome! They are in English and Spanish. The English is readable and understandable! It actually tells you what the lights mean, how many taps does what, what you can and can't clean it with or put inside! I was so excited to use the product just based on the quality of the instructions alone! This is what ALL devices should come with!!! Ok, moving on.Having never done this before, I tried it out in the shower, to prevent it showering all the dry parts of the bathroom.First it needed a charge, which took less than 10 minutes. I assume it would usually be longer but this was a top-off. The tip was easy to insert and you can easily tell that it's seated tight. I took off the tank to fill it under the tap, holding the top hole closed. Not sure but I think I could have just held the whole thing under the tap because the charging hole has a waterproof cover.Anyway, now the fun begins - I have one tankful to fool around with holding it and figuring out how to aim and what setting to use. Once I got the hang of it, I found it very easy to hold and work my way around, similar to an electric toothbrush. The different modes are each comfortable on my gums, it's just a matter of trying each for a bit to see which is best for me, or I can customize it to my liking.My electric toothbrush has a feature that I'm not sure any flossers have (this one didn't) and that is a slight pause to let you know to start the next quadrant of your mouth. I would have liked that feature here, but I'm sure I'll learn how long it takes at a steady pace.I'm glad I chose this SimpliCare flosser, it's a good value for $30 and also has a one year warranty.

I’m a first time water flosser user. So - full confession - I hate water flossing, and I’m doing it purely for my dental health. HOWEVER - if water flossing is also on your list of New Year’s resolutions - this is a great product to achieve that goal.The attachment water picks are plentiful (too plentiful, I haven’t used them all!) but the ones I’ve unwrapped and tried are sturdy, attach and remove easily from the device, and are easy enough to clean. The device is cordless and holds a charge for at least a couple of weeks, even if you use it religiously instead of skipping nights like I (occasionally) do. The reservoir is large enough to supply a detailed clean, and i genuinely appreciate the extra plug near the bottom that can be opened to drain water faster and help it dry out between uses.As a hater, I can at least say that the different pressure options are plentiful and easy to customize. I’m still on the Soft setting because, well, I can’t stand being shot in the mouth with a Barbie Dreamhouse-sized fire hose. For an experienced mouth hoser, one of the more pressurized options may be preferable, or even a custom setting for the real pros among us. For me though - the Soft setting is slowly winning me over to the sensation: enough pressure to get the job done gently, but not enough to dislocate any teeth (although I’m still suspicious).All that to say - great product for an unpleasant task.

Right now, I use both a countertop model that plugs in and a version that connects to my showerhead. Each has its pros and cons. The countertop one needs to be near an outlet, keeps you stuck at the sink, and has a tendency to spray water all over the mirror if you’re not careful. The shower version solves those issues because you don’t have to worry about splashing or staying near an outlet but it completely depends on your water pressure and can only be used while you’re actually in the shower.What I really like about this new model is that it gives me the best of both worlds. I can use it either at the sink or in the shower, where I usually brush my teeth anyway, and it’s much easier to pack for trips than either of the other two. The pressure is impressively strong on the “clean” setting, but you can switch to softer modes or use precision bursts if you prefer. It even lets you create custom settings, which is a great touch.The design feels well thought out. It’s waterproof and has two different ways to fill the water tank. My only real complaint is the charging setup. It uses a proprietary power plug that connects to a USB, so you have to keep track of that special plug and make sure you have a wall adapter handy. I wish it had gone with a simple USB-C port like most devices today.Overall, though, this is a really useful water flosser at a great price. If you haven’t tried water flossing yet, I definitely recommend giving it a shot.REVIEW PHILOSOPHY: I only review a product if it is something I am capable of critically evaluating through comparison, testing and use. As a first time water flosser user, my first time using this was a disaster with a watery mess EVERYWHERE! I’m talking mirror, walls, sink, and ceiling. After a brief google search and a few videos I was quickly able to figure out how to “properly” use this water flosser and it does work great. Leaves my mouth with that “fresh air sucking through your teeth feeling” you get after a dental cleaning. (You know you do it too). I find that the amount of water it holds is just enough to get all my teeth done. I only use the normal cleaning setting but I think the option of multiple settings is a very convenient feature especially for anyone with sensitive gums. The only downside and why I removed a star for the review is that the charging cable isn’t a universal type of cable and my fear is that once that goes-I won’t find a replacement.
