SimpliCare Cordless Water Flosser for Teeth – 4 Pressure Modes, 270ml Tank, 8 Tips, IPX7 Waterproof, USB Rechargeable, BPA-Free Dental Oral Irrigator – Model F5052-WI’ve been using water flossers for nearly twenty years, and over that time I’ve tried several types. Right now, I use both a countertop model that plugs in and a version that connects to my showerhead. Each has its pros and cons. The countertop one needs to be near an outlet, keeps you stuck at the sink, and has a tendency to spray water all over the mirror if you’re not careful. The shower version solves those issues because you don’t have to worry about splashing or staying near an outlet but it completely depends on your water pressure and can only be used while you’re actually in the shower. What I really like about this new model is that it gives me the best of both worlds. I can use it either at the sink or in the shower, where I usually brush my teeth anyway, and it’s much easier to pack for trips than either of the other two. The pressure is impressively strong on the “clean” setting, but you can switch to softer modes or use precision bursts if you prefer. It even lets you create custom settings, which is a great touch. The design feels well thought out. It’s waterproof and has two different ways to fill the water tank. My only real complaint is the charging setup. It uses a proprietary power plug that connects to a USB, so you have to keep track of that special plug and make sure you have a wall adapter handy. I wish it had gone with a simple USB-C port like most devices today.Overall, though, this is a really useful water flosser at a great price. If you haven’t tried water flossing yet, I definitely recommend giving it a shot.REVIEW PHILOSOPHY: I only review a product if it is something I am capable of critically evaluating through comparison, testing and use. This means I have experience of using similar items; or that I have equipment or tools that I can test it with; or that I have an upcoming need so I can actually use. I am as selective about getting an item to review as I would be about purchasing that same item, so yes, I expect it to be a good product. My reviews are NOT based on packaging or if it was delivered timely.
